With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Rosemary has built a distinguished career dedicated to advancing patient engagement and advocacy, bridging the gap between patients, healthcare professionals, medical societies and pharmaceutical companies to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
As Global Director of Patient Affairs at a global pharmaceutical organisation, Rosemary directed multiple cancer advocacy & policy strategies including breast & ovarian cancer, partnering with country affiliates, patients, advocacy groups and cross-functional teams to redefine care and improve equitable access to early detection and treatment. She initiated innovative programmes including the Ovarian Cancer Commitment and built patient partnership programmes across breast, ovarian and lung cancer.
Earlier in her career, she led the external expert and public affairs launch strategy for a first-in-class ovarian cancer medicine in the UK, and partnered with NHS stakeholders to change practice around BRCA testing, work that contributed to the vast majority of UK hospitals routinely testing ovarian cancer patients.
In 2025 she founded RC Patient Advocacy to bring that experience to organisations who share her conviction: that patients' voices should shape the future of healthcare.
